'Glacial Till,' before Taxation!

"Hammaker and Weaver aptly point out the importance of natural soil remineralization. Their claim we should imitate natural grinding and transportation by technical means to induce new life for the organic-mineral buildup of soil seems purely logical. With CO2 rising dramatically, evidence points to a new ice age period approaching rapidly. It will need all our courage, knowledge and joint global activity to slow down the impact. The starting point must be the buildup of the linkage system of soils. Man is still the missing link in the restructuring of the biosphere he is in danger of destroying."

-  Dr. Gernot Graefe, agro-ecologist, Germany (circa 1990)

It is said that the people in the Hunza Valley, in Pakistan, live to be 106 years old, with ZERO incidents of cancer. Needless to say they don't use cell phones and microwave ovens! Actually they just eat a healthy proportion of uncooked indegenous foods. And these same fertility conditions can be achieved here by distributing the equalivent 'rock dust' into our agricultural and pasture lands.

It has become absolutely critical that man reduces the leaching from our cultivated farms and rural acerage. Interestingly, this can be best achieved simply by applying the waste from the manufacturing of concrete and gravel. Revamping the soil to spawn micronutrient up-take in this way can produce measurable results in human health in as little as three years. And it also contributes to a reduction of atmospheric carbon-loading.

Nothing quite replaces this up-take process over time, but you can rest assured that any contributions that you make today to reduce the chemicals being poured into our food will directly increase your health, and of those around you. Although the author foretells a dire warning, (from way back in the 20th Century, no less,) his conclusions are actually More 'critical' for us to follow today.

Dr. Fernstrom says: "It is becoming increasingly clear that brain chemistry and function can be influenced by a single meal. That is, in well-nourished individuals consuming normal amounts of food, short-term changes can rapidly affect brain function."

Dr. Michael Lesser, who has been working to improve the diets of schizophrenic and depressed patients in Massachusetts and California, shares his observations: "I can almost say as a truism that the better the diet, the better the person's mental health. Everything you put into your mouth is going to affect your mind and body. . . A good diet helps preserve sanity; a poor diet helps lose sanity."

Stephanie Relfe responds to her profound awakening after reading "Secrets of the Soil" by Peter Tompkins & Christopher Bird: "Today soils are tired, overworked, depleted, sick, poisoned by synthetic chemicals. Hence the quality of food has suffered, and so has health. Malnutrition begins with the soil. Buoyant human health depends on wholesome food, and this can only come from fertile and productive soils. Minerals in the soil, said Carrel, control the metabolism of cells in plant, animal, and man. Diseases are created chiefly by destroying the harmony reigning among mineral substances present in infinitesimal amounts in air, water, food, but most importantly in soil. If soil is deficient in trace elements, food and water will be equally deficient."
